At Guardian Crop Solutions we carry two categories of inoculants; Silage inoculant and Seed applied inoculant.

Silo Inoculant

 

Silo Maxx

A product from PEAK Forage Products, Silo Maxx uses specifically selected bacteria to ensure there is a pH continuum between the species to get the pH below 5 more consistently.

It avoids dry matter loss by using Potassium Sorbate (a common human food-grade preservative) as an antibacterial rather than relying on acetic acid production from microbes. Potassium Sorbate also provides protection immediately instead waiting several weeks for the acetic acid levels to get high enough to suppress yeast and mold.

Soybean Seed Inoculant

 

RizoLiq TOP HC

  • Greater concentration of bacteria and greater stability in the container

  • Bacteria have a more active physiological state than those obtained with traditional methods

  • Superior protection at the cell membrane level to reduce desiccation

  • Greater survival on the seed surface
